Events include:  Dachsie Contests, Live Auction, Hotdog Sales, Photo Contest, Foster Dog Parade, Demonstrations, Music, and general "long-dog" fun!  Fun, food, prizes...a howling good time!

If you're interested in joining the fun contests, here are some things to know:
We'll have a huge costume contest again this year, so plan your dachsie's costume NOW!  You can enter your doggie alone, with another dog, or in a joint costume with you!  Celebrity judges will choose the winner!  Last year's winner, Scarlett O'Hara in her green curtains, and the People's Choice, Budweisr Clydesdales, will be tough to top!
The photo contest -- enter a great photo of your dachsie.  TWELVE winners will be the "calendar dogs" for the 2006 DARE calendar!
Also:  tail wagging contest, face kissing contest, relay races, and a few surprises!
Our T-shirts will be extra cool this year, with a beautiful full-color picture donated by dachsie artist Terry Pond.
Bring your dachsie and join the dachshund crowd!  All proceeds go to veterinary care for DARE dachshunds.
"Bring your empty printer cartridges.  DARE is registered with an organization that will give us a donation for every cartridge recycled."
