Puppies! Everyone loves puppies! They are cute and cuddly and snuggly and their antics amuse us. However, DARE very rarely receives puppies (under age 1), especially purebred dachshund puppies, though we receive many requests for them. For that reason, we maintain a puppy waiting list. When a puppy comes into foster care and is ready to go a forever home, we will contact those on the waiting list that are a match for the dog to see if they are interested in adopting the puppy we have available.

If you are interested in adopting a puppy, please fill out an application first, you will not be added to the puppy waiting list until an application is on file. Once that is completed, send an email to Sherri at peteysmom @ daretorescue.com and she will add you to the waiting list.

We do ask that you PLEASE let us know if you acquire a puppy from another source so that we can then remove you from the waiting list. Also, we will not send a puppy outside of the state of Florida because it is too much of a strain and stress on such a young dog.
